A unique Brass opium pipe. This is most likely an Indian Specimin from the early 20th century. The pipe is made of brass and adorned with an oriental motif etched quite deeply into the brass. Missing some of the hardware to make this piece functional, it would still make an excellent addition to a curio cabinet. The base screws off and can be used as a vase or a hookah base, these were interchangable back in the day. Found in a flea market in San Diego, California. This piece would fit nicely in a collection of orientalist objects.
