An ornate French porcelain vase, mid-to-late 19th century, likely Paris porcelain or a regional atelier working in the Rococo Revival style. The body is composed of sharply molded flourishes and leaf forms, with gilded scrollwork applied generously across the surface. Pierced handles curve inward with theatrical grace, while the central medallion—executed in soft gold and sky blue—features a stylized diamond and lattice motif, bordered by intricate vines. This vase was conceived more as a parlor sculpture than a vessel, intended to reflect candlelight and add opulence to a formal interior. A visual symphony of movement, light, and delicate excess.
