A finely crafted Tibetan prayer wheel, likely early 20th century, composed of a hand-chased copper and brass drum mounted on a turned hardwood handle. The cylindrical chamber is adorned with repoussé panels featuring Tibetan Buddhist imagery—possibly the Eight Auspicious Symbols (Ashtamangala)—and encloses a tightly wound scroll of printed mantras, most commonly the sacred Om Mani Padme Hum. The wheel spins smoothly on its axis, designed to release blessings and spiritual merit with each rotation. Once a handheld object of devotion, it now resonates as a sculptural relic of meditative movement and sacred repetition.
